Located in the Satpura range, Satpura National Park & Tiger Reserve is a lesser-known wildlife destination that houses rare flora and fauna in Central India.
Satpura came into light by a British Officer Captain J. Forsyth, when he was in search of a famous freedom fighter, Tantya Tope. During his search, he accidentally discovered the natural treasure of Central India. Satpura is one of the first declared Reserved Forest Area of India due to its ecological and commercial importance.
Amongst all the national parks in this region, Satpura National Park is considered unique because of its ecology and is an ideal spot for experiencing not only the amazing wildlife here but also the serenity of nature.
